Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at the University of Jordan, in coordination with SGS, held a training course entitled “Risk Management Plan,” targeting 15 employees who are members of the university’s administrative body.
The course was opened by the Vice President for Quality, Accreditation and Strategic Planning, Dr. Inaam Khalaf, who stressed the necessity of holding this course, which is an integral part of the university’s strategic plan for the years 2022/2027, and leads to maintaining business sustainability, achieving institutional goals, and educating employees about the importance of risk management and how to deal with it. Effectively, and the importance of transferring knowledge and training.
The course presented by Engineer Hisham Jalham from SGS covered several topics, educating employees about the university’s role in preparing a risk management plan and how to analyze the types of risks facing the workplace, such as financial, operational, environmental and strategic risks.
The course focused on how to evaluate risks and their potential impact on activities and programs, and use risk plan procedures and models to evaluate and classify them according to their importance and likelihood of occurrence.
