The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Centre at the University of Jordan has started internal evaluation work for the university's faculties, the Centre for Women's Studies, and the Institute of Public Health, under the leadership of the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Azhari, accompanied by members of the Internal Audit Committee from the teaching and administrative bodies.
The committee began its visits to the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Arts and Design, and the Faculty of Antiquities and Tourism, where they reviewed the level of readiness and the extent of commitment to the requirements of quality and institutional development, while emphasising the importance of continuous improvement and raising the performance of the faculties towards higher levels of excellence.
In a participation that is the first of its kind within the evaluation process, the audit of the websites of the colleges was included through a specialised evaluator, as the website represents a central element in the digital transformation system, and in line with the university's strategy in enhancing access to information and the quality of its electronic services.
