Internal audit of deanships, centers, units, departments and administrative offices at the University of Jordan


The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center organized periodic internal audit visits on the Quality Assurance Management System at the University of Jordan. The audit teams formed from various parts of the university and holding an audit certificate on the quality assurance management system accredited by the International Organization of Certified Auditors (IRCA) conducted an internal audit on the various parts of the university. The aim of the audit is to verify the quality and effectiveness of work performance and the conformity of processes and procedures in these with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and the standards of the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence. The audit teams explained the audit mechanism and its implementation, and recorded observations, and physical evidence indicating the extent of compliance with the approved international auditing standards.

The Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, Professor Dr. Wael Walid Al-Azhari, emphasized the importance of the role of internal audit in monitoring the extent of implementation of the comprehensive quality management system at the University of Jordan and its conformity with international requirements, with full commitment to periodic review. To ensure continuous improvement that achieves the vision and mission of the University of Jordan according to strategic plan for the years 2022-2027.
