The training program orchestrated a symphony of activities, lectures, and captivating visits, immersing the participants in a holistic educational experience. From thought-provoking discussions to hands-on workshops, the schedule was designed to stimulate the intellect and ignite the imagination.
The core objective that drove this gathering was nothing short of visionary. The partners from Jordan and Tunisia were united in their pursuit to enhance the quality of higher education within their respective countries. The central pivot of their aspiration was the seamless infusion of Art Therapy into the educational fabric. This innovative concept aimed to empower students and educators alike, fostering holistic growth and a deeper understanding of the arts within the context of education. Additionally, the training sought to modernize higher education systems, leading to the refinement of curricula and forging stronger connections among various educational institutions.
Throughout the training, participants engaged in vibrant and interactive discussions, sharing their ambitious plans for the advancement of the Art Therapy integration project. These discussions served as a crucible for ideas, where diverse viewpoints blended to form a cohesive roadmap for project implementation.
The location of the training was meticulously chosen to align with the clusters that the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) played a significant role in crafting. Specifically, the training revolved around the themes of two clusters:
Cluster 17: Skills Development: This cluster resonated with the overarching mission of the training – the enhancement of skills, both for the educators and the students. It embodied the aspiration to equip individuals with the tools to excel in their academic journeys and beyond.
Cluster 18: Practicum: Imbued with the spirit of hands-on learning, Cluster 18 provided a fitting backdrop for the training's immersive activities and workshops. Participants engaged in practical exercises, enabling them to translate theoretical knowledge into real-world applications.
The event in Athens, Greece, was more than a training; it was a catalyst for change, a beacon of innovation, and a testament to the power of international collaboration.
