WP3 Capacity Building and Training Workshops (Teacher/Technician Staff)

A comprehensive 5 days training workshop on art therapy and its multidimensional applications was hosted at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Technological Institutes of Porto.The workshop included lectures on diverse topics, such as Tools of Art for healing and Music Therapy, as well as immersive visits to various therapeutic contexts. Projects integrating music, education, and therapy were explored, highlighting the fusion of artistic expression and human development. Participants engaged in practical workshops, visits to rehabilitation services and therapeutic communities, and discussions on the contexts of art therapy practice.
The training emphasized the importance of considering patients' relational systems and contexts. The event concluded with certificate distribution and a presentation of the HEALING Project's outcomes and objectives.
The field of the training was relevant to the clusters which IPP and UCP participated in preparing:· Cluster 2: Neuroscience of Development· Cluster 5: Anthropology· Cluster 6: Basic of Art therapy· Cluster 8: Tools of Art for healing· Cluster 10: Music Therapy: basic methodology· Cluster 15: Drama & Theatre· Cluster 19: EthicsIn addition, a management meeting was held for all partners with the presence of some European partners personally and other participated online due to COVID19.
