Research

I enjoy optimization problems with an algebraic flavor. My research interests include, but not limited to the following areas:

 Optimization theory and algorithms.
 Interior-point methods for convex programming.
Jordan algebras and applications to optimization.
 Decomposition methods for stochastic programming.
 Second-order cone programming.
 Semidefinite programming.
 Semi-infinite programming.
 Programming in abstract spaces.
 Algorithmic theory and complexity analysis.
Ramsey theory of graphs and combinatorial optimization.
