Within the framework of the project "Capacity
Building of Personnel in Jordanian Olive Industry" that is funded by
the European Union, a workshop for olive farmers was held in olive center
at the University of Jordan for five days, in October to
November 2015-2016. The head of Department of Nutrition and Food
Technology opened the workshop and pointed out theimportance of holding
such workshop.
The lecturers were Prof Ali AlSaed, Prof Fabi Favati, Dr. Salam Ayoub, Eng. Futoon Ramadan, Mr. Mohammed Al-Jazi.
At the end of session
the trainees had a short exam, and then received certificates by Prof. Ali
Alsaed (the previous project Coordinator) or by Dr. Ghadeer Mehyar (the
current coordinator). All participants appreciate the efforts provided for
succession of the workshop and knowledge acquired.
