we should arrange good prices for hosting the final workshop together withpartners'
rooms (about 50 -55 JDs per night) andfinal meeting room and to get invoices
and receipts with only eligible costs. The EU partners suggested that the
Jordanian ones should undertake the responsibility of choosing the most
appropriate place for the meeting as they cannot have an opinion from far away.MissDaghmishundertook
the responsibility of arrangement of the hotels in collaboration with the
coordinator.
c. Invitation letter to
the IOC presenter through the Ministry of Agriculture.

of the final workshop.
d.Topics that are not covered
by the partners (fertilization and advances in disease control)
Prof. Chartzoulakisrequestedto email partners (according
to their specialty) with the titles of the presentations and the abstracts to
decide if they are within the framework of the project andto see if there is any
missed area to be covered by the invited speakers. Prof. Tsimidou asked Dr.
Mehyar to contact local presenters that are well known (with publications) in
the field of the missed subject ASAP and to see their availability for the
workshop. Partners agreed to have presenters from neighboringcountries to
Jordan such as Egypt and Palestine so they and can easily visit Jordan for the benefit
of Jordan and their countries.
e.Changing the title of the ministry
of agriculture speaker from "Economic Analysis for Olive and
its Product” to "Sector of olive and olive products in Jordan” and not to
overlap the JOPEA presentation.

areas planted with olive trees and their distribution throughout Jordan and types
of cultivars planted in Jordan etc. Prof. Tsimidou asked Miss Daghmish to have

of view to avoid the overlapping with the ministry presentation. This also will
be checked during the abstract reviewing and if any overlapping is found, this
can be overcome by contacting both presenters.
f. Reviewing process of
the abstracts and papers.
Prof. Tsimidou mentioned
that the coordinator decides to whom the abstract will be sent for reviewingaccording
to the subject of the abstract and since it is a workshop and not a conference,
everybody is responsible about the content of his presentation. If it isdecided
to publish the proceeding after the workshop, we need to evaluate the submitted
papers. Partners agreed that in this stage some work has been done in selecting
the topics but all abstracts should be checked to see that they are within the
scope of the workshop. Prof. Chartzoulakisreminded
