The GREEN Project (Developing a Curriculum on Green Hydrogen Technologies and Applications in Southern Mediterranean Countries) is officially inviting applications for the position of External Evaluator. Co-funded by the European Union, this project aims to develop a vocational diploma in green hydrogen technologies, fostering critical collaboration between Higher Education Institutions and enterprise partners.
We are seeking an independent professional to assess the project’s progress, impact, and adherence to EU quality standards throughout its lifecycle.
Role Overview
The External Evauator will play a constructive role in strengthening the project outcomes by providing an objective review of our quality assurance framework. The contract will run from February 1, 2026, to February 28, 2028.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting: Submit two comprehensive evaluation reports (Intermediate Report due 30/06/2026 and Final Report due 31/12/2027) assessing relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability.
Analysis: Review project outputs, deliverables, and stakeholder feedback (including surveys from partners and trainees).
Peer Review: Participate in the peer review of key project deliverables.
Collaboration: Maintain regular contact with the project coordinator and Quality Work Package leaders.
Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree (PhD preferred).
Experience: At least three years of experience in quality evaluation of national, EU, or international projects.
Skills: Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies, excellent English communication skills, and experience with educational improvement projects.
Preference: Experience evaluating complex multinational educational projects or EU-funded initiatives.
Conditions
Fees: Professional fees are paid in two instalments (50% after the intermediate report and 50% after the final report).
Legal Framework: The offer is subject to the "Hamburg Additional Terms and Conditions for the Performance of Services".
