Suez Canal University

​Suez Canal University started serving the society right after the end of 1973 war, it was established in 1976. The decree of the university's establishment clearly states that it is for serving, restoring and developing the Canal region after the war. SCU serves 5 governorates among which north and south Sinai and Alarish. Suez Canal University includes 20 faculties and institutes that serve 34,582 students, aided by an administrative body of 2,419 administrators and 3.356 faculty members and teaching assistants (SCU statistics 2022). University vision: Suez Canal University aims to graduate distinguished human cadres who are able to compete in the labor market, through providing quality education system and applications of scientific research. In addition to serving the community and keeping up with technological advances in a framework of ethics. University mission: Suez Canal University aims to be a distinguished pioneer in higher education, scientific research and community service locally, regionally and internationally.​
