About: Baha Alzalg is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He has also held the post of visiting associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His research interests include topics in optimization theory, applications, and algorithms, with an emphasis on interior-point methods for cone programming.
Prof. Alzalg is the author of the Wiley book 'Combinatorial and Algorithmic Mathematics: From Foundation to Optimization'. His research is published in journals such as Computational Optimization & Applications, Journal of Optimization Theory & Applications, Numerical Functional Analysis & Optimization, Journal of Mathematical Analysis & Applications, Optimization - A Journal of Mathematical Programming & Operations Research, Linear & Multilinear Algebra, and Applied Mathematical Modelling.
