Short Biography:

Baha Alzalg received the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from Washington State University, in 2011. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the ECE Department, at UC Davis.

Dr. Alzalg joined The University of Jordan as an Assistant Professor (on tenure track) in 2013 and was tenured and promoted to an Associate Professor in 2016. Internationally, since 2019, he has been with the CSE Department, The Ohio State University, where he works as a Visiting Associate Professor.

Dr. Alzalg is an Expert in Conic Optimization. His research focus is mainly on designing and analyzing interior-point algorithms for convex conic optimization.​​​
