Measures And Activities

Activity 1: Kickoff-Meeting at the TUHH in Germany

In a kick-off meeting, all project partners meet for the first time in presence. During the meeting, the common communication structure is defined and the organization of the project is worked out. On the part of the TUHH, a research assistant is planned for the organization of the meeting.

One professor and two scientific employees from each partner university should take part in the kickoff meeting. (e.g. one professor and two research assistants/junior lecturers)
The content of the meeting will focus on the development of a first draft for the module "Green Hydrogen".

Period: 2. Quarter 2023

Activity 2: Developing teaching module “Green Hydrogen” (Part1)

The "Green Hydrogen" module is developed on the basis of the initial agreements of the kickoff meeting. Organization and communication will take place digitally. In parallel, the necessary infrastructure will be purchased by all partners. This mainly includes software for video conferences as well as hardware in the form of project laptops, cameras and/or microphones.

A WiMi/Junior Lecturer is working on the development of the module at each university.

Period: 3. Quarter 2023

Activity 3: Teaching the new module “Green Hydrogen” (Part1)

During the winter semester 2023/2024, the module "Green Hydrogen" will be offered simultaneously at all three universities. The lectures will alternate between the three partner universities (lectures held in person at one university; transmitted via video to the other two). The aim is to have at least 30 students participating, averaged over the semester.

The project is coordinated by the TUHH, which employs a student assistant and a research assistant.
Period: 4. Quarter 2023

Activity 4: Train of Trainer Workshop at TUHH in Germany (Part1)

The TUHH is organizing a workshop in cooperation with the "Center for Teaching and Learning" (ZZL) for the further qualification of teachers. Within the workshop didactic training is offered as well as innovative methods in teaching and training for the digital competences.
Two professors and two scientific staff / lecturers per university should take part.
Period: 3. Quarter 2023 (5 days)

Activity 5: Theses at the two partner universities (Part1)

Two students from the TUHH shall complete their theses at one of the other two partner universities. In addition, the TUHH should enable two students from the two partner universities to write their final thesis. This should preferably be combined with an attendance stay at the respective university.

The examination shall be taken by a professor of the home university and by a professor of the host university. The TUHH takes over the organization.
Period: Year 2023

Activity 6: Student exchange (Part1)

Within the project, a student exchange between the two partner universities should be offered.

Students from the three universities have the opportunity to complete their thesis at the respective partner universities, where they are supervised jointly by teaching staff from the two respective universities (two students from TUHH planned, TUHH hosts two students for one semester). At least two modules are to be available at each university, which students can have credited at their home university.
The organization will be taken over by the TUHH.
Period: Year 2023

Activity 7: Development of the website for the establishment of a digital competence center

A digital competence center is to be established for networking students, teachers and external stakeholders. The core of the competence center is a website. This will also serve as a platform for the jointly developed "Green Hydrogen" module. The announcement of international theses on the website should make it easier for students to find a topic and should therefore contribute to the support of measure 5. The construction and maintenance of the website will be done by an external partner. The organization and coordination of the content will be done in cooperation between the TUHH and the two other partner universities.

Period: 2023-2025

Activity 8: Improvement of the teaching module "Green hydrogen” (Part2)

Based on the experience of the first semester of teaching the module "Green Hydrogen", the module is to be further developed. In doing so, the results of the first "Train-the-Trainer" workshop shall be used and the students shall be enabled to evaluate the lecture with modern methods (digital). Tools and methods of the train-the-trainer workshop are to be applied as far as possible.
Period: 1.-3. Quarter 2024

Activity 9: Teaching the new module “Green Hydrogen” (Part2)

During the winter semester 2024/2025, the module "Green Hydrogen" will be offered simultaneously at all three universities.
