Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie (PTUK) PTUK was established in 1930 as the first agricultural High school in the country. In 2007, it was awarded a university status and now is considered as the fastest growing higher education institutions in the country. The number of students has risen from a mere 950 students in 2007 to over 10000 students in the year 2022. In June 2017, two state colleges have merged with PTUK. The university has now three campuses in 3 major cities in the country: Tulkarem (Main Campus) Hebron (Aroub Campus) and in Ramallah (Ramallah Campus). PTUK offers mainly bachelor degree as well as diploma programs in different fields of study, such as: Science & Arts, sports, Engineering, Information Technology, Economics and Business as well as Agriculture. There are 83 bachelor degree programs in total as well as 36 diploma programs (2-year). The university provide Master degree in 19 different programs in addition to its high diploma in Teacher Training. In addition, PTUK had recently introduced new Ph.D degree programs in Plants Pathology and applied mathematics.
