The Second Steering Committee Meeting for EGREEN project took place during the period of September 13-15, 2017 at Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, Höxter, Germany.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, and President of Tishreen University.

The Steering Committee meeting gathered representatives from partner universities in Jordan, Syria and Europe.

The meeting aimed at monitoring the progress of the project and update the action plans for different work packages.

At the first day of the meeting the General Project coordinator, Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh, updated the partners about the project progress and the needed next steps.

During the three-day meeting, each work package leader presented the status of his work package and the suggested action plan, these sessions were followed by open discussions between partners.

Furthermore, the Committee agreed on the mechanism of selecting courses and its development process, in which a seven courses in environmental engineering and climate changes will be improved, one of them will be a new course, two of them will be elaborated as e-learning courses and 1 course will be elaborated in the ECTS.

The meeting also included a scientific visit to Glass fabric company in Böfzen.
