On March 15, 2017, a Courses Mapping Workshop organized by Tishreen University (TU) in cooperation with Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL-UAS), took place in Latakia, Syria. The workshop aimed to introduce the project to the faculty members from the different faculties at (TU) and to map the proposed courses which will be developed for the undergraduate curriculum to inject the climate change concept and promote the environmental topics.

The local coordinator of EGREEN project at Syria, Prof. Moussa AlSamara delivered a presentation about the project structure, objectives, and the roles of (TU) in the project.

Prof. Salman Ajib the representative of Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (OWL-UAS), presented the needed tasks and activities in the third work package entitled "Development of Study Plan and Curricula".

The workshop were enriched by the vivid discussions of participants about the proposed courses and their contents in Energy, Water and Environment topics. ​
