About C-NEW
C-NEW is a 2-year project that started
on June, 2019 and is funded by DAAD. It is coordinated by Technische
Universität (TUHH) with the partnership of University of Jordan
(UJ).
Overall Objective
To establish the virtual Center of
Excellence (C-NEW) at the University of Jordan, that combines the
expertise in the field of energy and water, and bring together
scientists from water and energy disciplines, in order to offer a
scientifically sound advice for ministries and other organizations.
Project Goals
- Development and implementation of a virtual competence center
for" Water and Energy Nexus" at UJ
- Knowledge transfer between UJ and TUHH
- Strengthening cooperation within the TUHH between the Institute
of Environmental Technology and Energy (IUE) and the Institute of
Water Resources and Water Supply (WWV).
- Exchange of students
- Integrate acquired skills in education through workshops and
research
