The Mutah University team
organized a two-day seminar on the role of social media networks in
education, which can be utilized to enhance critical aspects of societal support and individual advancement.
The training covered the following topics: Online Courses and Tutorials, Flipped Classroom Model, Personal Learning Network (PLN), Skill and Achievement Showcasing, Interactive Learning, Gamification and Challenges, Media Literacy Education, Promoting Digital Citizenship, Study Groups and Peer Learning, Mental Health and Well-being Support, Visual Learning and Storytelling, and Crowdsourcing and Collaborative Projects. Furthermore, issues related to the use of social media in education (i.e., Privacy and Security, and Digital Divide concerns) were discussed.
