The Development and Training Division in
the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at the University of Jordan
organized a workshop entitled "Strategic and Operational Plan" which
was presented by a Quality Management expert and a member of the European Quality
Association Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdel Aal Al-Nuaimi from the College of
Business.
The workshop covered important topics
related to the definition of strategic planning, how to set the strategic plan,
how to determine reality and diagnose strengths and weaknesses, what is the
difference between vision, mission and goals, how to measure the gap between
the plan and reality, and how to construct an operational plan with
effectiveness measurements. The workshop was part of comprehensive plan by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center toward
a continuous development in staff's skills in teaching, technology, scientific
research, communication and quality assurance at the University of Jordan.
