On Sunday, June 19, the Founder and CEO of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) International Nunzio Quacquarel along with QS Regional Director for MEA & South Asia Ashwin Fernandes, handed over the QS World University Rankings 2023 certificate to the University of Jordan (UJ) president Prof. Nathir Obaidat.
This came during the QS World University Rankings 2023 Arab Forum, held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad M.H. Al Sheikh, in celebration of the ninth edition of the Rankings, and in the presence of presidents of Arab universities which are included in the rankings.
During the forum, which was also attended by the director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, UJ also received a commemorative shield on this occasion.
The one-day forum, organized by the QS in partnership with Al-Faisal University, discussed visions and future paths for Arab universities in the world rankings, and ways to improve their positions in the various ranking categories in light of the its adopted criteria.
